TERRA OLBIA

Ukraine, in particular Mykolaiv land, is full of cultural monuments of different times, left to us as a legacy by the tribes and peoples who once lived on its territory. Among the archaeological sites, a special place is occupied by the objects of antiquity, the era from which the modern European civilization began. Among them are the first Greek settlement in the Northern Black Sea on the island of Berezan, the Olbian state with a rich rural district, Roman estates and military camps of Roman legionnaires, etc. Unfortunately, the archaeological heritage is constantly under threat of destruction due to economic activity, looting by treasure hunters and the banal passage of time. The mentioned processes have especially intensified during the last decades. Especially, during the previous year, when the barbaric, aggressive actions of the northern neighbor threatened the sights especially acutely. Russia is not only trying to take away our freedom, but also to destroy our cultural heritage.
